2023 Ride

Callen was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and spent his second birthday in the hospital. His type of AML was the result of a rare genetic mutation that has very little research behind it. He had to endure an intensive 4-round chemotherapy regimen. Of course, he lost all of his hair. Fortunately, today he is cancer free! However, like most kids who undergo cancer treatments, the harsh chemicals to kill the cancer, will more than likely result in health issues later in life.
Callen loves the Disney movie Cars, particularly the character Lightning McQueen. Callen was given a custom Pez holder to hold his favorite Cars dispensers.
