Wesley

2022 Ride

Wesly was constantly holding “Puppy.” It became his go to comfort stuffed animal. His parents would put Puppy in the freezer at night prior to treatment, as they said Wesley relaxed with the coolness of Puppy against his body. Wesly was diagnosed with leukemia days shy of his fourth birthday. Last year, he was diagnosed as being cancer free. Of course, we had to take our “Puppies” on a ride to celebrate. Wesley loved his custom Puppy Pez…and the candy.
Wesley was also given a custom Pez stand that holds two special Pez made just for him. The orange ribbon is the color for Leukemia and the gold ribbon is the color for Childhood Cancer. Because he was so “super” during his treatments, the custom stand was created substituting the Superman logo for the “S” in Wesley’s name.
